What does the Wild Woman Archetype

mean to you?

Day 1: Sunday 31st May

Introduction to the Wild Woman Week and anyone who would like to be a part of it. We will be holding the space to share stories, listen and set intentions together. This is also a wonderful opportunity to open up a discussion about what the Wild Woman Archetype is and how it can help and support us in our every day lives.

We would love to hear why you are here and what you would like to gain from this week together.
Our invitation here is to choose an object or something sacred to you that will be your ally for this week. What did you choose and why? What are your hopes for this week?

Day 2: Monday 1st June

Connecting with Love to Earth and Sky.

A guided visualisation with Kate Fisher

Practicing a way to remember to slow down and connect with ourselves and the World we live in.

For the guided visualisation I invite you to get into a comfortable place and position where you are unlikely to be disturbed. It will take about 10 minutes, to be with your feet on the Earth somewhere is ideal but not necessary. Take some deep breaths to centre and pres play.

Another offering of an exercise to re-evaluate and unlearn some of the restrictive beliefs we have taken on from outside ourselves to come to more expansion of self in Love.

For this I invite you to read my blog on the subject which has an exercise at the end.

Day 3: Tuesday 2nd June

Magic in the Mundane -  Finding the beauty in the everyday with photographer Rachel Wright.

Using photography to notice and appreciate your everyday world in a new way.

We would love to hear about your experience and see your photos. Keep in touch and let us know your thoughts in the Facebook group

"I am  a photographic artist based in the east of England. My work centres on finding beauty in the unexpected, the overlooked and the seemingly ordinary; the transformation of the everyday into art through the camera’s lens.

While I am inspired by many different subjects, impermanence, imperfection and intangibility are constant themes.

I am interested in the connections between creativity and wellbeing, and the power of art to make positive change.

My work is a meditation on appreciating the small pockets of beauty that surround us, often unnoticed, in our daily lives" - Rachel Wright

Day 7: Saturday 6th June

"Once upon a time there was a Wild Woman, she carried everything a woman needs to be and know. She carried the medicine and healing for all things. She carried stories and dreams and words and songs. She could track and run. She could sense and love deeply. She was all that was instinct and intuition. She was deep listener and a loyal heart. She was ideas, feelings, urges and memory. She was the source of the feminine. She still is…..she is you. She lives within and without. In our soul and in the earth, the trees, the rivers, the seas" - Suzanne

Suzanne Arnold, aka Suzanne the Storyweaver, has been telling tales and making stories since the 80’s. has a warm and inclusive way of telling and particularly enjoys searching for stories with strong female protagonists and a focus on our connection to Nature and the magic of other realms.
She is the host and founder of the Tales and Ales Storytelling Nights at the Lock Inn, which has been running for 8 years.
